Season's change.....

Hey all,
Have you noticed the new banner up here?? It's a SURPRISE!! It's something new to my blog. Just keep following for the complete reveal soon :)
It's so exciting that seasons change and the best part is that winter is approaching. But let's not hurry and better enjoy today's season with a FALL card:

This card is simple to make but has taken so much time to coordinate the colors. The flower was stamped twice and cut for two sizes: the outer and the inner part. To add some beauty, I embellished the stamped flower with another tiny flower inside and adhered  four white pearls.

I'm so happy to get back to one of my long-time challenges and that is Picture Perfect Creations. So today's card is my newest entry for two challenges: PPC and Sketch it Saturday. Here is the color combo:

The colors have added so much life to my card!!! Most of the time was spent with the sizes so as to fit the blossom appropriately. And woohoo I did it :) The stamp had the word 'birthday' but I trimmed it to say 'day' instead. The last touch was the swirls from e-line collection.

Paper Purse

Hi all,
Back to crafting!!! Today I'm showing you a cute paper purse that was specially made for Blackleaf Studios blog.

The cardstock was cut from a template and then scored. After folding, I attached the ribbon and adhered the bag front. On the other side, I colored the cupcake image from Cupcake Stamps set and scalloped it with !-inch circles. Finally, the embellishments were added.

A facelift

Finally I've done a big facelifting for my blog :) Constant things can be boring sometimes so I decided to make these changes and re-start my card making journey freshly and creatively....

Back to Dubai!!!

So back to routine life :( Always happy moments pass quickly leaving wonderful memories behind. It was nice to meet family members and visit many places around.
However, I'm now very excited to look for a job and start my card making journey again :)

Digital card...

Since I'm yet on vacation, I made a digital card this time for my first DT post.
I used paint.NET ( a free program) to create the invitation card. Two patterned papers were used and the image was colored with the same program. Have a look:

Long time since I posted on my crafty blog. I missed cardmaking so much but am really enjoying here in Tanzania!!!
The weather is so adorable with raining sometimes. Trips to Mikumi National Park, Ngerengere and Kisanga were so fun and exciting. I'll share the amazing pictures once I'm back to Dubai!!!
