Tiny Mini Card

Hi everybody,
It has been so exciting making mini cards. I believe tiny stamps fit so perfectly in mini cards so I stamped in many of them. However, for this card I used my new set of Black Regards Printed Chipboard Thickers By American Crafts. They are so soft and stick firmly (without extra glue!!). The card's color combination was based on this challenge:

And here is my simple card:)

That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by...

Welcome, baby girl....

Hi everybody,
This is a new idea: a card for a baby girl and because the challenge in CCT#105 is Dimensions, I thought this would be a perfect entry. By the way, it's exciting to make new card shapes. Here I printed the pram template and glued it to the cardstock, then cut the shape accordingly. Finally, I stamped the flowers (it was so fun) and popped the butterflies from DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies Glitter Quilt. Oh ya, I added the ribbon too.

Happy stamping!!

Lucky me... to have a friend like you

Hi,
It's a new sketch challenge by 2 Sketches 4 You. The sketch is quite easy I believe. Here it is:

For my card, I used BasicGrey Indian Summer Collection that perfectly matched the cardstock color. I masked the flower stamps and then stamped the sentiment for embossing. Towards the end, I added the cute ribbon. My card:

I think friends will get closer now :)

TESC #105

Hi all,
I always wanted to use a beautiful sticker from BasicGrey Lemonade Pop stickers but never started. Once I saw this sketch from Taylored Expressions I thought this would be the perfect card. This is the sketch:

I used many papers matching the colors in the pop sticker. I measured the pink cardstock paper from the corner so it aligns in the centre fitting the sticker base. The bow was tied just before sticking the pink paper giving a beautiful touch. Finally, I added the flower sticker :) Here is the card:

Cute, isn't it??

You're so special!

Hi all,
Who said simple is not elegant?! Today's card is so simple but with few creative touches it turned out so chic. I really loved the embossed sentiment-'You're so special!'.
This card is actually an entry for the EBTKS Sketch Challenge #11. Below is the sketch:

And here is my card:

Have a wonderful day!!

Just For You

Hi all,
This card was a real challenge. It's actually an entry for two challenges: PPC-CC and 2 Sketches 4 You.
Because I had to restrict to the colors below, I took so much time to select the papers. But unfortunately, I didn't get them alone; the colors were combined with others too. So I selected the challenge colors first and tried to use other colors as neutrals. Here is the color combo:

For the other challenge,2 Sketches 4 You, I had no trouble. The design was simple and elegant:

So combining both the challenges, I got this cute card. The base patterned paper is from crate paper and the other one is from DCWV BB Glitter Quilt. Enjoy!!

MOJO CONTEST #129

Hi all,
It's another Mojo Monday, another sketch and definitely another card. First I didn't like the sketch much but after creating my card I thought it was really inspiring :) Here is the sketch:

I think the color combination is great. The patterned paper is from K & Company Wild Raspberry Specialty Paper Pad and Sassafras Gum Drop Garden. I was so lucky to get the same color combination in Lemonade Pops Stickers by BasicGrey. Here is my inspiration:

Paperplay Challenge '10 - Week 9 - Just Because

Hi all,
The blog host's challenge was to make a "just because" card - thinking of you, miss you, hello etc, so I thought I should grab this opportunity with my colorful "hello" card:

I love the colors and the glittered quilt from Butterflies and Blossoms. Hope you like it too!!

Color Throwdown # 82

Hi all,
For this challenge we have to use three colors:

And yes, I think i could handle it:

I used patterned papers to cut rays and finished it with a butterfly dimensional from K & Company.

MOJO contest-128

Hi everybody,
It's a new challenge and definitely a new card. Here is the sketch:

I started my card with embossing the borders after masking the centre part. Gradually I added papers and embellishments to the card. To my surprise, the red button in the flower embellishment from Sassafras Lass inspired me to choose red border for the flower image. Here is my card:
