Friend,, You're so special!

Here's a new distressed card with lots of stamping. I'm so addicted to distressing nowadays and am planning to get more distress inks :)
As you see, I colored only one flower in the Floating Blossoms (Hero Arts) stamp image. The word 'Friend' is from Curly Alphabet stamps and the sentiment from Card Messages stamps from Hero Arts.

This card is entering for:

Have you noticed the two blings: one on the flower and the other on the alphabet - i. Here's my card from a side:

That's for now. See you soon!!!

thank you

It's a new addition to the 'simple cards' category :) however I spent so much time with it!!! Actually I tried scoring the cardstock to make a diamond pattern but because it's black it didn't show much :( I'll try again with a different color then give you the technique details...
I used Black Regards thickers and moda bella pp both from American Crafts. Then finished the card with a bright red ribbon...

I really love the bow knot which I recently learnt from a youtube tutorial, HERE is the link. And this is my card from an angle:

Thank you too for passing by and leaving some love :):):)

welcome sweet baby

Its boring to always make a blue card for a baby boy and a pink one for a baby girl!!! So this time I made a colorful and fun card that is suitable for both :)

This card is entering for:

These banners from sassafras nerdy bird collection are so fun to play with. The banner and the "sweet" stamps are from warble collection from Dear Lizzy + American Crafts. Those tiny brads have been waiting so long to be used because they always looked weird in my cards, however, here they've just fit so well :)
The inside carries the same patterned paper with a pre-cut border :

BTW this card will beautifully go with the colorful fruit bouquets in Edible Arrangements!!!
Thanks for stopping by :)

CONGRATS

Among the most-selling cards at Edible Arrangements are "Congrats" cards so I'm making more of these ones. Today's card contains some of my favorite colors: pinks and purples. The label was hand-cut from a print out :)

This card is entering for:

I tried shaping the borders with scissors to give an old-touch and two borders were rolled too. Here's a closer look:

The alphas were colored with Copics and flowers finished with pink rhinestones from Kaisercraft.
Thanks for paying a visit and see you soon!!!

Not so bad :):)

After viewing Jennifer's video, I tried making flowers many times but yet not so happy with the result. I didn't emboss it however, but its not so bad yeah :)

This flower was made from a newspaper and then distressed with red and old paper ink. The leaves pattern was colored with Copics. Here it is from an angle:

Checkout this Jennifer McGuire's tutorial for steps. And if you have time see the Holiday Thinking Inking series (they are just so amazing!!!)

mom

I really loved today's monochromatic card. I distressed the papers from Parisian Anthology Collection (pinkpaislee) with old paper ink. The center paper was ink resisted with the same ink. What else will leave a wonderful final touch than a Prima flower!!!

Two simple cards...

My blog has been quiet for sometime just because I'm currently busy with my career life. I pray that everything goes well and settles soon to resume to my favorite hobby - cardmaking...
Today I'll show you two simple cards that are for different occasions. Here is the first card for a new born-baby:

The stamped flowers have been colored with Copics and that cute flower embellishment is from Lil Bee's November kit

This second card uses a patterned paper from Delovely Collection and the stamping as well as alphas colored with Copics too

Ok that's for today. Hope you liked it and see you soon...

thanks FOR LIFTING MY SPIRITS

As part of my DT duty, I had to create a card based on this week's sketch. I used a cute stamp from Unicorns Stamp Set available at Blackleaf. I know my coloring is not perfect as I'm yet a beginner :) Got to work more with Copics!!!

 TFL and see you soon...
