Don't you want to know who created these beautiful cards?!
1. When did you start cardmaking?
I started making cards 5 years ago. One of my girlfriends actually introduced me to card making. I originally started my paper crafting doing scrapbooking.
2. From where do you draw your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from various sources. But in the last several months, I have found the Pottery Barn catalog as a great source of inspiration.
3. What are your favorite companies? The companies I love the most: Stampin' Up!, Cosmo Cricket, Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, and Paper Trey Ink.
4. What are the 5 top tools in your crafting space?I have a Big Shot, a good quality table top paper cutter, a scor pal, heat gun, and good quality punches.
5. How long does it take you to make a card that you are happy with?It typically takes me about an hour to create a card. However, there are times when it takes closer to 2 hours. Sometimes, you just can get the right stamp, the right ribbon, or the right embellishments. Sometimes, you just need to 'play' with what you have and tweak it a bit.
6. What do you do with the cards that you make?Right now, I keep my cards. I put them in a 3-ring binder. However, I am working on opening a virtual shop, where I plan to start selling my cards and other paper crafts.
7. Do you post your cards in a blog, gallery, forum?I post my cards on my blog (http://www.inkwooddesigns.com/) and a gallery on Split Coast Stampers (gallery: swheet)
8. Are you currently designing for any blog?I am a new design team member for Our Creative Corner blog
